 #WWIM13_NC | April 23-24, 2016 | Rain or Shine!

The next World Wide Instameet falls on the weekend of Earth Day!  Instagram wants us to "share and celebrate the wonder and beauty of planet Earth" through our lenses.

We have incredible natural diversity in NC.  Mountains, plains, forest, and beaches.  And that's why we are having a 2-day Instameet - so we can celebrate and appreciate each different type of landform this Earth Day.  We'll go from the blue waters of the Crystal Coast (Emerald Isle), drive through fields, and hike through a lush green forest (Eno River State Park - Cox Mtn Trail), snapping pics as we go.

As diverse NC is, though, it is linked by one thing: water.  Rain falls on the mountains, forms into streams, connects into rivers, which flow into the sea.  The theme for our Instameet will be water photos.  There is the ocean at our first location, and a river at our second.  We will also be spreading awareness for the #leavenotrace movement, which inspires people to enjoy the beauty of our Earth responsibly.

Come to both locations, or either.   The meets are rain or shine!  #LifeonEarthWWIM13
